Local Area Agency on Aging, Region One Receives 3 Media Awards for their Marketing Efforts this Year - PHOENIX, AZ

         Maricopa County’s own Area Agency on Aging, Region One received 3 National Mature Media Awards for its television commercial, annual report design and a photograph used in marketing pieces.   The 17th Annual National Mature Media Awards honors the best in advertising, marketing and educational materials for older adults.  The awards were created to annually recognize the best materials produced for those who are 50 and older, the nation’s fastest-growing population group.  Awards in 33 categories were chosen from nearly 1,000 entries and winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges from across the United States.
              The Area Agency on Aging, Region One received a Silver award for its photograph of a grandmother and her grandson and a Bronze award for its annual report design for fiscal year 2007.  The Agency also received a merit

award for its 2 minute commercial which airs on AZTV and CBS and features client testimonials.
